Pasta With Pesto Saucehouston, Texas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. firmly packed fresh basil leaves
1/4 c. pine nuts or walnuts
3 cloves fresh garlic
1 c. or less fresh parsley
3/4 c. grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
1 1/2 c. olive oil
Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
Pasta (one large pkg. or two smaller ones)
Preparation

Place basil, parsley, nuts and garlic in blender or food processor with metal blade and puree.
Blend in cheese and slowly add olive oil until well mixed.
Boil pasta (use a stockpot), drain and toss with Pesto Sauce. Serve hot.
Some people like more Parmesan cheese on top.
