Pearl Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. rice, uncooked
    1/3 c. mushrooms, chopped
    1 lb. ground pork
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    2 tsp. ginger root
    6 water chestnuts, chopped
    1 to 2 green onions, chopped
Preparation
    Put egg, sugar, soy sauce and salt in bowl and mix.
    Pour over pork already in bowl.
    Add mushrooms, 2 green onions, water chestnuts and ginger.
    Mix well.
    Roll into small balls.
    Place uncooked rice on a towel.
    Spread out.
    Roll pork balls in rice until well coated.
    Place balls on a piece of wax paper and put into a steamer.
    Steam 30 minutes.
    Take out with tongs and put on serving tray.
    Serve with duck sauce, soy sauce or even mustard, if preferred.
