Batter Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. (1/2 stick) oleo
    1/2 c. warm water
    2 pkg. yeast
    1 egg
    3 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Scald milk; stir in sugar, salt and oleo.
    Cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in large warm bowl containing water.
    Stir in \"milk mixture\", egg and flour.
    Beat until smooth.
    Stir in enough flour to make a soft dough.
    Punch down and shape into 2 dozen rolls. Place on greased baking sheet.
    Cover and let rise until doubled. Bake at 400\u00b0 until done.
