Green Tomato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 large green tomatoes, peeled and chopped
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 c. sugar
    1 pie shell
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    butter
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Squeeze liquid from tomatoes; add vinegar and water.
    Sift sugar with salt, flour and spices; mix with tomatoes.
    Pour into pie shell and dot with butter.
    Cover as for apple pie.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 30 minutes.
