Penuche Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. Crisco (not butter)
    3/4 c. evaporated milk (1 can)
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Bring the sugar, milk and Crisco to a boil.
    Boil for 3 minutes. Beat until lukewarm with an electric mixer. Blend in vanilla. Beat until thick enough to spread.
