Yolk Sponge Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. lemon extract
1 c. egg yolks
2 c. sugar
1 c. hot water
Preparation

Sift flour and baking powder together 4 times.
Add salt and flavoring to yolks and beat until thick with rotary beater.
Add sugar and hot water alternately in four portions, beating until very thick after each portion.
Fold in about 1/4 of the flour at a time; beat well.
Pour into ungreased tube pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
