Rush Hour Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 chopped onion
    16 oz. can tomatoes
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1/2 c. water
    salt and pepper
    1 tsp. sugar
    5 to 6 lb. eye of round roast
    10 to 15 lb. rock salt
    2 cans beef broth
Preparation
    Line large, shallow baking pan with 2 layers of heavy-duty foil.
    Pour salt into pan, about 1 to 1 1/2 inches deep.
    Moisten with water and press down evenly in bottom.
    Make small indentation in middle.
    Lay roast directly on salt on indentation. Cover with salt.
    Sprinkle with water and press firmly around roast, covering completely, about 1 to 1 1/2-inch thick layer.
