German Chocolate Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

1 c. shredded coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
1 box German chocolate cake mix
1/4 lb. (1 stick) margarine
8 oz. cream cheese
1 box confectioners sugar
Preparation

Mix together the coconut and nuts and put into bottom of a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Prepare cake mix according to directions on box and pour over coconut-pecan mixture.
Place margarine and cream cheese in a saucepan and heat until mixture is warm enough to stir in the confectioners sugar.
Spoon over top of cake mix. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Do not cut until cold.
Makes 1 sheet cake.
