Pecan Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oleo
    2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream
    oleo, add small amounts of sugar and cream.
    Add eggs, vanilla
    and flour (put salt and baking powder in flour and sift into mixture).
    Stir well, add nuts and put into a 13 x

    x 9-inch pan that has been lightly greased and floured. Bake
    at 350\u00b0 (depending on your oven) for 25 minutes.
    Do not overbake. Sprinkle
    white powdered sugar on top while hot and cut into squares.
