C. Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 eggs
3 tsp. soda
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. boiling water
2 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream and mix in order.
Sift flour, salt, soda and cocoa.
Add alternately with buttermilk.
Add boiling water and vanilla.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
