Baked Chicken With Herbs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 frying chicken, cut up (or desired pieces)
    5 Tbsp. butter (I use olive oil and less margarine)
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. thyme, rosemary, and sage
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. parsley and chives
    hot mashed potatoes
Preparation
    Brown chicken in 2 tablespoons oil or margarine.
    Remove to 1 1/2 quart casserole.
    Melt remaining margarine in skillet and add flour.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cook till slightly thick, stirring constantly.
    Pour over chicken and bake, uncovered, at 325\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
    Serve with mashed potatoes.
