Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 lb. round steak, tenderized
    2 green peppers, cut into eighths
    2 cans stewed tomatoes
    1 small onion, sliced
    salt and pepper to taste
    small amount of flour
Preparation
    Cut steak into serving size pieces.
    Salt and pepper meat, then roll in flour.
    In a large skillet, brown steak on both sides in a small amount of fat.
    Pour tomatoes over steak, then add onion and green pepper.
    Cover and simmer for about 1 hour.
    Occasionally, gently stir to keep steak from sticking to bottom of skillet. Serve over white or yellow rice.
