Squash Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. winter squash, mashed
1 c. scalded milk
scant 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. margarine
1 Tbsp. yeast
1/4 c. warm water
about 5 c. flour
Preparation

Put squash, milk, sugar, salt and margarine in bowl and cool. When lukewarm, add yeast dissolved in water.
Add half of the flour.
Beat well.
Gradually work in the rest of the flour.
Turn onto a floured board and knead about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place in a greased bowl.
Cover and let rise until doubled.
Shape into rolls.
Place in greased 9 x 13-inch pan and allow to rise again.
Bake at 375\u00b0 about 20 or 25 minutes.
