Vanilla Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 box vanilla wafers, crushed
    2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    1/4 lb. margarine
    2 egg yolks
    2 c. 10x sugar
    pinch of salt
    2 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 small jar peanuts
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
    1 small container whipped topping
Preparation
    Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Put 1/2 wafers in pan.
    Melt chocolate and margarine.
    Remove from heat and add 10x sugar, salt, vanilla and egg yolks.
    Mix well.
    Beat egg whites until stiff; fold into chocolate mixture.
    Pour mixture over crumbs.
    Chop peanuts and spread over chocolate mixture.
    Cut ice cream into 5 slices lengthwise.
    Put over chocolate mixture.
    Put other half of wafers over ice cream.
    Top with whipped topping.
    Freeze.
