Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. water
    1 qt. vinegar
    1 c. salt
Preparation
    Pack pickles in jars and add 3 teaspoons dill seed, 1/4 teaspoon alum and 1 clove of garlic.
    Combine water, vinegar and salt and heat until boiling.
    Pour boiling mixture over pickles and seal.
