*Raisin Nut Stuffing("Bucuvala") - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 loaves stale cracked wheat bread, remove the top crust and grate
    3 sticks butter
    1 1/2 c. raisins, soaked in warm water
    1 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
    2 apples, peeled and chopped
    2 to 3 Tbsp. sugar
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    orange juice to moisten
Preparation
    Brown butter in a large pot.
    Over low heat, add bread and mix very well until bread is browned.
    Add drained raisins, walnuts, apples, vanilla, sugar and salt. Add orange juice gradually until slightly moistened. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes for flavors to blend, stirring often.
    Serve with chicken or turkey.
