Green Pepper Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large green peppers, cut in pieces
    1 1/2 c. cider vinegar
    2 hot pepper pods, minced or 2 tsp. crushed red pepper
    6 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 bottle pectin
    green food coloring
Preparation
    Put half the peppers and the hot pepper in blender container and process on high speed until liquified.
    Pour into saucepan. Do remainder of peppers.
    Add sugar, salt and vinegar.
    Bring to boil.
    Add pectin, stirring.
    Pour into sterilized glasses and seal with paraffin.
    Makes 4 to 6 glasses.
    Serve on crackers or cream cheese.
