Scottish Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks real butter (1/2 lb.)
    2 1/2 c. flour (add 1/2 c. if needed)
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Put all ingredients in a bowl.
    Butter must be at room temperature.
    Work with hands to form a ball (no crumbs).
    Spread in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Prick with a fork. Sprinkle with sugar.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Remove and cut into squares.
    Return to oven at 275\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Take out and enjoy!
