Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can wax string beans
    1 can green string beans
    1 can yellow Mexican corn
    1 can red kidney beans
    1 can navy beans
    1 c. green pepper
    1 c. celery (optional)
    1 c. red onions
    1 can water chestnuts
    1 1/2 c. apple vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Drain vegetables and put in bowl. Combine vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper in pot and boil 5 to 6 minutes.
    Pour hot vinegar solution over beans and stir well. Let stand overnight, then drain vinegar off.
