Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. shortening
    3 to 4 Tbsp. ice water
Preparation
    Mix flour and salt together.
    Cut in shortening to size of peas.
    Sprinkle in water 1 tablespoon at a time, mixing with a fork until all flour is moistened (3 to 4 tablespoons more water may be added if needed).
    Firmly press dough into a ball.
    Divide in half.
    Roll each half out to fit your pie pan, about 1/8-inch thick.
    Makes 1 (2-crust) pie or two single crusts.
