Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. hot water
3 c. white bread crumbs (soft), crust removed
3 Tbsp. butter
2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
3 lemons, grated rind of 2 and juice from all 3
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 baked pie shell
Preparation

In a large bowl, put the water, bread crumbs and butter; let set until soft, then beat with mixer until smooth. Add this to the other ingredients in a large saucepan and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Pour into the baked pie shell and top with meringue or whipped topping.
