Crumb Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour, sifted
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. cloves
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream butter and sugar.
Blend in flour, mixing well.
Reserve 1/2 cup of this crumb mixture to sprinkle over cake before baking.
Add the egg, salt, buttermilk, baking soda, spices, raisins and nuts to the remaining crumb mixture.
Pour into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until done.
