Rice Pudding(Serves 8) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. precooked rice
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. vanilla pudding
    4 c. milk
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine all ingredients except vanilla.
    Cook, stirring, over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil. Remove from heat; let stand 5 minutes, then add vanilla.
    Chill or serve warm with Cool Whip, cherry or strawberry sauce or plain.
