Aunt Jan'S Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 lb. flour
4 Tbsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
4 c. shortening
4 Tbsp. baking soda
4 Tbsp. salt
4 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1/2 gal. buttermilk
Preparation

Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, shortening, baking soda and salt. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add buttermilk; mix well. Add dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Roll out and cut into biscuits. Place individual biscuits on cookie sheet and freeze. When frozen, pack 12 into Ziploc bags. Take out as many as needed for a meal. Allow to rise for 10 minutes. Bake at 400\u00b0. Makes 120 biscuits.
