1 c. butter or margarine, softened
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
6 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. pecans (optional)
3/4 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
1 tsp. salt
6 oz. peanut butter chips
Preparation

Cream together butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Sift together flour, baking soda and salt.
Add to creamed mixture, mixing until well blended.
Fold in chips and nuts.
Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Makes about 4 dozen 3-inch cookies.
