Transparent Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. milk
4 eggs (2 yolks) (whip whites for top)
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix together sugar, butter, flour milk, 2 egg yolks and vanilla.
Mix well and pour into pie crust.
Bake at 375 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes, until knife inserted into pie comes out clean.
Whip egg whites with 1/4 cup sugar until stiff and put on top of pie.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until delicately browned.
