Yellow Butter Cake - cooking recipe

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/4 c. Sugar Twin
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. cider vinegar
Preparation

Cream butter, Sugar Twin and vanilla in a small mixer bowl. Add eggs gradually, continuing to beat.
Blend flour, baking powder and baking soda; set aside.
Mix milk and vinegar; alternately add with flour mixture to creamed mixture, beating just until blended after each addition.
Put batter into a greased 8-inch square pan; spread evenly.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes or until center springs back when touched.
Serve with cherry sauce.
