Angel Ice Cream Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf angel food cake
    1 qt. strawberry ice cream
    1 pt. heavy cream, whipped
    1 c. miniature marshmallows
    1/4 c. chopped nuts (optional)
    1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 pkg. frozen strawberries, drained
Preparation
    Slice angel food loaf lengthwise.
    Place a layer of strawberry ice cream 1-inch thick between the cake slices, sandwich style. Make an icing of whipped cream to which marshmallows, nuts, drained crushed pineapple and drained strawberries have been added.
    Keep in freezer until ready to serve.
    Loaf will slice easily as soon as it has been taken from freezer.
