Old Fashion Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stewing chicken, cut into serving pieces
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. butter
2 whole eggs
Preparation
-
Simmer chicken slowly until tender in enough salted water to cover.
Cut butter into flour and eggs.
Mix well and roll as for pastry.
Cut into narrow strips.
Drop into boiling broth with chicken and cook for 10 minutes or until done.
Yield:
6 to 8 servings.
