Fresh Apple Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
5 c. peeled and chopped apples (about 4 large apples)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

Preparation

Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer.
Gradually add 2 cups sugar; beat well.
Add eggs, one at a time; beat after each addition.
