Coconut Pecan Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. evaporated milk
2 egg yolks
1/3 c. Crisco
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
2/3 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

In a saucepan combine sugar, evaporated milk, egg yolks, Crisco and vanilla.
Cook over medium heat.
Stir constantly. Heat until mixture comes to a boil (about 12 minutes).
Remove from heat.
Add coconut and pecans.
Beat until frosting is thick. Cool 15 minutes.
Spread on top of layers.
