Common Senses Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 8 squash, sliced
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 stick butter
    2 pkg. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 to 2 c. crumbled crackers
    1/2 c. milk
    dashes of salt and pepper to taste
    2 to 3 c. water
Preparation
    Boil squash on medium heat in 2 to 3 cups of water; drain after squash is cooked to tender.
    Blend in all ingredients except 1 package of shredded Cheddar cheese for topping.
    Be sure all is well blended before topping with Cheddar cheese.
    Place in a Pam-sprayed pan.
    Bake on 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes or until top is brown to your likeness.
    Serves 4 to 6.
