Candied Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 apples
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. dark corn syrup
    1 c. light cream
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Combine sugar, corn syrup, light cream and butter.
    Cook until dissolved (on low heat).
    Cook to hard boil stage (don't stir). Remove from heat and add vanilla.
    Dip apples and roll in nuts.
