Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
    2 tsp. salt
    3 c. water
    4 c. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. sugar
    2 c. chicken broth
    4 Tbsp. butter
    2 cloves garlic
    1 medium onion, diced
    garlic pepper and onion salt to taste
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in salted water in covered saucepan for 10 minutes. Dice into cooking liquid. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Heat to serving temperature. Makes 12 servings.
