Streusel Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 c. flour
1 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. ground almonds or walnuts
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

In a large bowl, combine the sugar and flour; add the butter. Cut in pieces and rub with your fingers until mixture is reduced to fine crumbs.
Stir in nuts; spoon out and set aside 1 cup of this mixture for topping.
To the remaining crumbs, add the soda and salt.
