Rich Cocoa Fudge - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
2/3 c. cocoa
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

In 4-quart saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa and salt; stir in milk.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil.
Boil, without stirring, to 234\u00b0 (soft boil stage) or until syrup when dropped into very cold water forms soft ball which flattens when removed from water.
Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla.
Do not stir.
Cool at room temperature to 110\u00b0.
Beat until fudge loses some of its gloss.
Quickly spread in buttered pan; cool.
Cut into squares or drop by teaspoon on wax paper.
