Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. soda
    2 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water
    2 c. buttermilk
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients together; cut in shortening until mix is crumbly.
    Add yeast that has been dissolved in water; add buttermilk and knead for several minutes.
    Roll out and cut.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 until golden brown (approximately 12 minutes).
    May keep dough in sealed container in refrigerator for 1 week.
