Browned Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium size onion, chopped
1 stick oleo or butter
1 c. uncooked rice
1 can beef consomme soup
1 can mushrooms
1 c. water
Preparation

Saute
onions
in butter.
Add rice and very slowly let it brown,
stirring constantly.
Add other ingredients.
Bake in 9 x 13-inch casserole at 325\u00b0, uncovered.
