Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    3 c. plain flour, sifted
    3 c. sugar
    6 large eggs
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg is added.
    Add sour cream to which baking soda has been added, alternating with the flour until all sour cream and flour is mixed in well.
    Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake at 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours or until done. Remove from pan and place on rack to cool.
    Can frost if you like.
