Pineapple Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

2 c. crushed pineapple
2 qt. day old bread
1/2 c. margarine, melted
1/4 c. raisins
3 eggs
3/4 c. brown sugar (packed)
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. allspice
1 c. milk
Preparation

Drain pineapple well; reserve 1/2 cup of juice.
Tear or cut bread into 1-inch cubes.
Place in baking pan.
Drizzle with melted margarine and pineapple juice.
Moisten evenly.
Sprinkle pineapple and raisins over bread and mix lightly.
Beat eggs with brown sugar and spices.
Stir in milk.
Pour evenly over bread mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until center is set.
Serve with Vanilla Custard Sauce.
