Buttermilk Pound Cake 2 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks butter
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    3 1/2 c. cake flour, sifted
    4 eggs
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. hot water
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon flavor
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter until smooth; add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
    Mix soda and hot water; add to buttermilk. Add flour and milk alternately, a little at a time to sugar, butter and eggs.
    Add flavors and beat 5 minutes.
    Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake until cake leaves sides of pan (about 45 minutes) at 350\u00b0.
