Scarborough Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. or 12 oz. sour cream
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck beef
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 tsp. sugar
    pinch of garlic salt
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. thin egg noodles
    6 scallions or 1 onion, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Best if made in the AM to stand in refrigerator or overnight before cooking.
