Carrot Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium (about 1 lb.) fresh carrots, cut into 2 x 1/4-inch strips
1 medium head cauliflower, separated into florets
1/4 c. margarine or butter
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
parsley
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Arrange carrots in ungreased rectangular baking dish, 12 x 7 x 2-inches.
Layer cauliflowerets over carrots.
Dot with margarine.
Sprinkle with salt and nutmeg. Cover and bake until vegetables are tender, 50 to 55 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese; garnish with parsley.
