Turkey And Sausage Wild Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. (6-oz.) long-grain and wild rice mix
    1 pkg. (16-oz.) hot or mild ground pork sausage
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/3 c. red bell pepper, diced
    1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
    1 can (8-oz.) sliced water chestnuts, drained
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. chicken broth
    3/4 c. milk
    2 c. chopped cooked turkey
Preparation
    Cook rice according to package directions.
    Set aside.
    Brown sausage in large skillet over medium heat about 10 minutes, stirring until sausage crumbles and is no longer pink.
    Add onion and red bell pepper to sausage mixture, and saute 3 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
    Drain.
    Return sausage mixture to skillet over medium-high heat, and add mushrooms and water chestnuts.
    Saute 3 minutes or until mushrooms are tender.
