Snow Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. egg whites (about 8)
    1 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. butter, melted and cooled
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    In a large
    bowl
    of
    your electric mixer, whip the egg whites until
    frothy.
    With
    mixer at highest speed, gradually add the sugar
    and beat until mixture will stand in stiff, but not dry, peaks.
    Then
    beat\tin
    the
    salt
    and vanilla.
    Sift flour; measure,
    then
    sift again with baking powder into the egg whites, folding
    until
    well blended.
    Fold in melted and cooled butter until
    evenly
    blended
    and turn mixture into a tube-type cake pan
    that
    is
    well-greased
    and
    dusted
    with powdered sugar. Bake
    at
    350\u00b0
    for
    one
    hour
    or until cake bounces back\twhen touched lightly.
    Remove from pan and cool. Dust well with powdered sugar before serving.
