Cranberry Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. cranberries, picked over and washed
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
3 tsp. grated orange rind
1/2 c. orange juice
3/4 c. toasted slivered almonds
Preparation

Combine all ingredients except almonds in a saucepan and cook until cranberries pop open, about 10 minutes. Skim the foam from the surface; add the almonds and cool.
Makes about 4 cups.
