"Jiffy" Peanut Clusters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. chocolate or butterscotch pudding mix (not instant)
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    peanuts (salted ones may be used; other nuts may be used)
Preparation
    Mix in a saucepan all ingredients.
    Cook and stir to a full boil.
    Lower heat and keep stirring while mixture boils slowly 3 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in all at once 1 cup peanuts. Beat until candy starts to thicken.
    Drop from teaspoon onto waxed paper to form clusters.
    Using butterscotch makes delicious pralines.
