Cream Cheese Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. butter, softened
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. sifted white all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    confectioners sugar (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan or 12-cup Bundt pan.
    Beat butter and cream cheese together in mixing bowl until well blended.
    Add sugar to mixture and cream until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Blend in vanilla.
    Sift flour and salt together; blend into creamed mixture.
    Spoon batter into pan.
    Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Cool in pan 5 minutes.
    Dust with confectioners sugar, if desired.
    Makes 12 to 15 servings.
