Romas Pink Angel Ring - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 oz. pkg. raspberry jello
1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen raspberries
dash of salt
1 c. heavy cream
1 loaf angel food cake
Preparation

Dissolve jello and salt in boiling water; add berries and stir until thawed.
Chill until nearly all set.
Whip until fluffy, then fold in whipped cream.
Pour 1/3 of mixture in tube pan or ring mold.
Follow with 1/2 the cake (from which brown crumbs have been brushed), torn into pieces.
Add another third of the raspberry mixture, then remainder of cake and then the rest of the raspberry mixture.
Chill until firm.
Unmold and garnish with whipped cream (or frost it).
I double this to fill my Bundt pan.
Strawberries can be substituted.
