Fried Streaked Salt Pork With Cream Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. streaked salt pork, sliced thin
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. milk
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Fry pork on medium heat until crisp.
    Remove from pan and place on paper towel to absorb excess fat.
    Leave 2 to 3 tablespoons of fat in pan.
    Add flour to pan and stir until flour browns.
    Add water, milk and pepper.
    Stir until it boils and gravy thickens. Serve with hot biscuits and eggs for a delicious country breakfast.
